About Me

Welcome to my webpage. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama.

My primary research utilizes a multidisciplinary and multi-method framework to understand the relationship among the public, law enforcement, and terrorist organizations. 
My other research interests include gender-based violence, violence and nonviolence in conflict, and geographic patterns of crime and violence. 

I hold a PhD in Criminology and Public Policy from the School of Public Affairs at American University, an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Miami University.
