Welcome to my webpage. I hold a doctorate in Criminology and Public Policy from the School of Public Affairs at American University.
During the 2016-2017 academic year, I am a postdoctoral research fellow focusing on Experimental Terrorism Research. This position is with the Transcultural Conflict & Violence Initiative in the Global Studies Institute at Georgia State University.
Starting in fall 2017, I will be an assistant professor at the University of Alabama.
My primary research utilizes a multidisciplinary and multi-method framework to understand the relationship among the public, law enforcement, and terrorist organizations. My other research interests include gender-based violence, violence and nonviolence in conflict, and geographic patterns of crime and violence.
I hold a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Miami University.
